I have pulled videos from the Gopro 7 on the laptop, unfortunately, with some videos, only the sound is given back.
At the Gopro you can watch the vides. Besides, these videos are called GX… And not GH. Like the others.
The thing is the format because your computer (notebook) is not always the same format type as the camera, press right click on an unopened video and then choose Open With… From Type: "Windows Media Player" or etc.
Have I already tried with a variety of Plabern… Unfortunately, without success.
You had the yes as in the question Simply put it over with drag and drop would advise you to install a tool which formats changes that will help
