A few hours ago a window on my laptop opened. I didn't think anything about it and just closed it again, apparently an error (I think it said something about encryption).
Now every time I click on something or want to open it, everything is opened twice. It does not matter whether it is with a file or in the browser.
How can I undo this?

Explanation in short form: Set Windows Explorer to the option "open in new window", start Windows with F8 in safe mode, there again set to "open in same window".
