Tablet vs notebook for school / study?

What do you think is the better solution?

I use an iPad myself for my studies and before that for school.

I'm very convinced of that. But I also know many who use laptops.

What do you use or what do you find more suitable?

Tablet is the most convenient solution. But then it should be a higher quality one with a pen. There's also something in the direction of Chromebook that would be laptop-like.

We use Ipads at school, but personally I prefer a laptop because they simply have a full operating system and decent software. For example, I can't program on an Ipad and image processing and video editing are rather difficult there

I can type better, faster and more error-free on a physical keyboard. In addition, a laptop usually has more memory and more features.

Also use an iPad during your studies. A laptop would not be able to do what I need. V.a. Writing formulas etc that is easy with the Apple Pencil is impossible on the laptop

I can just deal with it better, you can mark things better in texts, but in the end your hand can also hurt. For my studies I would probably buy an iPad with a keyboard and pen.
