I need an adhesive that, like some kind of plastic or extremely strong silicone, sticks a small piece of plastic onto metal. Super glue (super glue) becomes too brittle or porous. That substance has to be resilient.
What I would think of would be a hot glue gun. However, this is too rough. I have to wet an area of 5mm (metal) to attach a plastic part to it.
Background: The position attachment for a button must be glued to my laptop. So it shouldn't be too thin and endure stress. The previous material was transparent and looked like what comes out of a hot glue gun… (melted plastic)
I do not understand the question?
Under no circumstance.
If it does not have to be flexible after curing - 2K (component) adhesive
This is hot glue. Of course there are different versions.
UHU SUPERFLEX GEL super glue 45565 3 g
The old substance was slightly flexible. I think if it's too hard it will break through the keystrokes over time. I had to scrape them off the metal with a pin with a lot of pressure… Or rather pull them. It was also easy to pull and was not brittle.
I thought so. Can you buy pistols for micro areas anywhere? Conrad or something?
What would you recommend for a hot glue?
I have never seen a 2K adhesive come off without massive use of force
