Hi, I plan to get a Windows laptop and a drawing tablet soon, so I would like to know if anyone can recommend a good program for it. One of my acquaintances suggested Clip Studio Paint EX, but I find 188 euro a bit steep. There would also be Clip Studio Paint Pro for 43 euro, the other would be loud according to my acquaintances better suited for comics and manga (which I mainly do).
Does anyone have experience with a few of these programs and can I recommend one?
Most of them can be tested for free for a while, which I will of course do; I just need a few suggestions first. After all, I can't try them all out😅
For a while I had Paint Tool Sai, but for me it's just iwie Paint with more feauteres or even a slimmer version of CLIP. And for clip you do not even have to pay 180 numbers, as already mentioned you can just take the "smaller" version, which has less features. The advantage of the EX version is that you can download in their store (usually free), more brushes, models, etc. And these are also divided into Pro and EX again.
But ansich the Pro version is enough if you just want to draw / sketch etc.
Mostly in spring or autumn Clip Studio Paint offers, where you can get the pro version for half or save 100 euro in the EX version, just a small tip on the edge.
