I'm looking for a suitable laptop for my architectural studies.
According to the website, the laptop should have 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage capacity.
I find the Surface Book 2 very interesting, because I can also write on the tablet during the lectures, without having to have a second device.
Do you think it is sufficient if I take the version with i7, 8 GB Ram, 256 Gb and Niveda graphics card?
Yes, it was enough for me. I even had the i5 version
No idea what your budget is, but how about this?

16GB RAM, NVIDIA MX230, Intel Core i7-10510U, 4x 1.80GHz, 1TB M.2 PCIe 3.0, 12.5h runtime
You can already buy that.
Alternatively: Xiaomi has announced to bring their Redmibooks to the German market soon. There could be nice bargains.
I have a starter notebook from 4 years ago, but still one with 18.3 inches (so you do not look your eyes out of the head) and that comes along great, even when rendering completely smooth. The times where you had to worry about the graphics card is, I think, long gone. Even in the office on the big one, I only have one i5.
