I'm considering buying a Chromebook
The price is attractive to me about 320 euro is worth something for if that is thought
or should I buy a normal laptop
Is suitable for normal school supplies. However, I would hesitate a bit because the software is quite new.
The Chromebooks in the price range usually only have 64GB SSD.
So it's like a cell phone with a big screen and keyboard.
You can't really install programs, just APPs.
So no alternative to a laptop and certainly not to a PC.
I'm also thinking about getting a Chromebook.
All I've read about them is
• You are good at working online
~ They are not good for working offline
• The Google Apps are already pre-programmed, such as Maps or the calendar
• On some Chromebooks, you can fold the keyboard back and use it like a tablet
• As I understand it, they have a touch system
~ you can't download all apps, e.g. ITunes is not working
It depends on what you want to do with the Chromebook. If you mostly want to work all the time (sometimes on a flight or a trip), it's not that practical. Because it almost only works over Wi-Fi.
Apparently they have already improved the software
ITunes is also not an APP that is available in the Google Playstore. It has to be an APP for Android and not for iOS.
Can I download it from google on chromebook
I see. I don't know my way around there. That is only what my research has shown. Sorry for the wrong answer😅
ITunes is only available for iOS and Windows. I'd rather spend some money on more storage in the iCloud and save your photos there. From there you can get them elsewhere.
These are currently per month:
50 GB: 0.99 euro
200 GB: 2.99 euro
2 TB: 9.99 euro
Yes I can do it that way, but personally I don't find clouds that safe
I haven't looked at Chromebooks lately, but it could be possible.
