My laptop has currently installed a 8GB DDR3 RAM latch. Here you can see on the picture, according to SiSoftware Sandra, "DDR3 SO-DIMM DDR4". Does that mean that I can now install a DDR4 RAM latch?
Thank you
DDR4 can't fit into a motherboard where a DDR3 latch is inside.
If DDR3 is in DDR4 fits not pure. Look what is in concrete and look for a new out accordingly.
No - that is not possible. Since now DDR3 RAM is installed there can be no DDR4 RAM, the slot is different. In addition, the processor would have to support both types of RAM.
In addition, the change to DDR4 RAM does not bring much.
