Does that help against coronviruses?

I want to disinfect a used laptop. Does glass cleaner help?

Glass cleaner only has a very small percentage of bacterially active substances, if at all. Mainly surfactants and perfumes. Otherwise the stuff would also be called "glass disinfector".

But it's always better than nothing.

Corona viruses do not survive on surfaces… Disinfecting objects is more effective against bacteria. For that, the viruses would have to get in your mouth by now, so you would have to lick the laptop off

So an antibacterial disinfectant is enough? Because they are viruses.

Still, even if a corona patient had kissed the laptop, all viruses would already be dead.

I would just use the same thing you use to clean your smartphone.

I use 75% ethanol for the coarse cleaning and a little hand sterile for a short subsequent cleaning in order to really kill (deactivate) all viruses and at the same time to be able to handle the display surface pleasantly creamy.
