I would be interested to know what would happen if you were to travel to the Middle Ages and with a smartphone, modern clothes etc. I would come across people especially king and such.
How would people react if I stood in front of them with modern clothing and electronic devices in my pocket (smartphone, laptop, Smarwatch etc.)
* Would I end up at the stake?
* be described as a stranger from another country?
* or want the gentlemen to know about me or have these products themselves.
The last one went through my head when I saw Back to the Future.

It would probably be different if you played with today's technology in the 80s. Then in principle the technology would have to be ahead if that were the case.
Omg. Only the monks in the monastery spoke Latin; the common people spoke Old High German or later Middle High German. These in turn were divided into different sub-groups. Since there was no uniform spelling, the borders are blurred. If you think you would have understood something about it, google mal → hildebrandslied text.
You are wrong. No one spoke Latin except for scholars.
You do not have to be afraid of the stake, in the Middle Ages hardly anyone was burned, the great witch burning took place in the early modern period.
You would be someone who shops in strange clothes, but since you are obviously a stranger, you will be dressed wherever you come from. Your cell phone would be dead in a very short time and would therefore only be a strange mirror of the object, in which no one understands what purpose it should serve.

Your electronic devices would be electronic waste very quickly. You would be a strange, colorful bird, dressed in funny clothes and talking funny. That would be all.
The stake was only later. But you could probably earn a few pennies or thalers at marketplaces if you were to pretend folk speeches or sing Beatle songs.
The smartphone would be completely useless in the 80s and could not be used due to the lack of cell phone towers and networks.
