Played Sims again a few weeks ago 😂
Everything went perfectly.
I played Sims 3 on my laptop and then used a cheat (I don't know if it's because of it, but it would be kind of weird if).
In the beginning everything was fine. I think a day later the screen started to flicker; just a little bit, then it became a subtle bit more.
I was extremely excited and then ended the game and started playing Sims Middle Ages.
Then it started to flicker there (the colors of the clothes of the Sims showed somehow differently than it would normally).
I thought maybe it was due to the normal Sims 3 and then uninstalled it.
Then I started Sims Middle Ages again and nothing has changed.
I also tried a few things in my graphics driver settings that were on the Internet with the same problem. Unfortunately that didn't work either. That was about 10 hours ago.
Now I just continued to play Sims and ignored the flickering.
Now the screen looks like the pictures below. Made a video; but you can't post that.
really don't know what I can do😅
would be grateful for any answer
How do the cheats work in Sims, can you simply enter them in the game somehow, or have you played around with the game files so that the cheat works…
You just have to press 3 buttons, then a window appears; there you enter the cheats.
I used to play with cheats sometimes and there were never any problems
Okay, just wanted to know if it was internal to the game or if files were added…
the graphics card driver is up to date? If not, install the latest driver…
Yes, I have already brought it up to date.
already thought that it is not the cheat; it would be funny if this transferred this flickering from one game to another
Have you reinstalled the driver frequently? So do you also know that you took the right driver?
not that you installed the wrong one…
