My old laptop was barely performing, had a bad display, and a bad battery. Also a loud, warm fan. My new one is better at all of this, has no fan and yes. But somehow it's no longer a laptop. I mean the special thing about a laptop is the fan (loud) and so typical. Now, as I said, somehow I miss that. But I don't want to switch to a cheap model either, because it doesn't have much power. Does anyone know the same problem?
You just have to get used to the new one
Once you get used to a new laptop, you'll be fine. It just takes time.
Where is the problem? Grab the old device again and keep using it.
It takes (measured!) 7 minutes until it is ready. Lol
Next to me is a working HP Compaq nc6320 … Okay, he doesn't like Windows anymore, but he runs like crazy under a friendly penguin.
My old laptop didn't have a fan either. I have "mothballed" him well and for special situations I pull him out. Already to prove that he is still going.
He also had little performance and you had to bring a lot of time.
It was / is a 386 with 33Megaherz working speed.
