Is the Acer model better here for the same price?

MSI:

The MSI has less RAM and a smaller SSD as well as a slightly older CPU. However, the GraKa is a bit stronger and has more VRAM. Since RAM and SSD can be upgraded, but graphics cards can't, the MSI (as strange as it may be) would be the better choice in my opinion. In addition a 2nd bar of RAM to get to 16GB (but first check with e.g. https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html whether 2 bars are already installed).

Thanks for the answer, that's exactly what I thought, but then I compared the 2 CPU's and the 10750 does a lot better than the older one. I wouldn't upgrade a laptop except for the RAM anyway, do you think I should rather take the Acer or is the weighting of the better graphics card stronger than the better CPU?

& the original 1,499 euro are a joke

The CPU works without any problems, my old one (also MSI) still has one from the 4th gen and the only thing that weakens after 7 years is the GraKa. This is the "weak point" of a gaming laptop.

But from experience I can say that the original 1500 euro are quite reasonable. The devices are very well made and the housing is not a plastic bomber but as good as all aluminum.

Okay good to know, just so that you get a better setup for the price.
