So there used to be these laptops from Sony Vaio and they are not available anymore in Germany and laptops from Toshiba anymore.
My question is: why are these brands no longer available in Germany? Especially the laptops of both brands were of good quality and now there are only these cheap looking and overpriced laptops from acer etc
Sony Vaio, for example, has been discontinued worldwide.
The news that Sony is out of the PC business
https://www.heise.de/...06456.html, should surprise only at first glance. The Japanese corporation has been writing in the red for years - in economic terms, the exit from the price-contested market, which is also in a state of upheaval due to the tablet boom, makes no sense.
Sony has withdrawn from the computer market.

I still see Toshiba laptops regularly.
There are many high quality laptops from other guys.
Why? They sold well?
Too many competitors.
Yes, they were really good devices. But apparently have not dropped enough.

Obviously not, the group is losing.
