Laptop goes out directly when booting, what to do?

I have been using an acer aspire f5-573 n16q2 laptop for 3 years now and everything has been working fine so far. Since I was in the middle of a Windows 10 update, it doesn't run that well anymore. When I try to start it with the on / off switch, nothing happens, but when I connect the power supply it goes on for about 2 seconds (you can still see the Acer logo) and then it goes off again. Even after prolonged charging, the on / off switch does not turn it on. The little light also shows that the laptop is charging all the time. I suspect the battery is gone, what is your opinion on that?

You have to go to an expert or google it I don't know my way around

Connect to the power pack and try it out without a battery.

Unfortunately it still doesn't work, the problem probably has a different origin, thanks anyway for the tip!

I actually wanted to avoid it, but I have no other choice.
