I'm starting my apprenticeship this year and would like my setup to do something about it. Improve. I'm currently sitting on a Samsung laptop with a 3rd generation i3, parred with 4 GB RAM. A combo that is no longer sufficient. Even the soldered battery doesn't last as it should - from the power it lasts 45 minutes with Office. That will not be enough for my training - especially because I need my laptop there actively (go in the direction of IT specialist application development - but have never really dealt with hardware.)
My training company gives me 400 euro for a laptop. After some research I came across the Acer Aspire 5 series. Here I have a model with an i5 10210U paired with an MX350 and 8 GB RAM. A 1 TB SSD is also included - probably a bit exaggerated - but the 500 GB surcharge only costs 30 euro, so why not. All for a price of 700 euro. So I would only have to pay 300 euro - that's exactly what I imagined.
I would of course use the computer primarily for programming. Apart from that, it should also tolerate light gaming (UNO, Hearts of Iron etc.) The MX350 could also be useful here, after all it is only a rebranded 1050. And image processing should also be feasible. Here I could overlook a screen that is not accurate - I use my monitor at home for that anyway. I also only read positive things about the battery.
Here is the more precise model:

I would appreciate a quick reply from you,
your Marc.
I bought it half a year ago for 600 euro and I'm absolutely satisfied
Thank you so much! Can you write something more specific about this? What I'm particularly interested in is how long you can get through the day with this thing - are 3 hours of office inside? And how loud are the fans when there's really pressure on the thing?
