Laptop hangs when I play Sims4, what's the problem?

I got a new laptop and downloaded Sims4 on it, but every time I play Sims4 for a while my laptop (Acer Swift 3) hangs, what could be the problem? And what can I do about it?

I guess too little RAM or CPU performance. Try to screw down the graphics completely and keep the actions rather limited, then it should actually work
