How do you find out the amperage from the laptop charger?

I can no longer find the charging cable from my old Acer laptop and wanted to order a new one. Unfortunately, I don't know what amperage and voltage the old one had, as there are different chargers for different types of models for this laptop.

Then order one for exactly that ACER laptop!

The basic electrical data are usually on the back of the device or at the end of the operating instructions. You can possibly google the latter.
