My parents have a laptop Acer Aspire 3. Now we have a problem with the mouse and the TouchPad from the laptop. It can be clicked anywhere Internet call, desktop, right mouse button, etc. Everything works. Only if you click on the windows symbol, nothing works. Pressing on the windows icon and the window with programs etc opens and there you can't click anything in this window. No programs you can't restart it no reaction from the mouse you can't click anything there. Have already tested other mice and the TouchPad does not work there either.
What can this be?
This will most likely be a problem with the user profile.
Just create a new user and log in with the test.
And if that's what can I do about it?
Use a new profile or try to repair the old one.
There can be a "sfc / scannow" help in the prompt (with adminsitrativen rights), or even a "dism / online / cleanup-image / restore-health". Even with prompted as an administrator prompt.
Joa so far I know myself then also net out of such stuff
Is there just the naming… Was not recognized as the name of a cmdlet… Usw
Which operating system? The restore-health must become a restorehealth.
Win 10 64bit
Then you mistyped yourself
The windows resources protection No integrity violation found
Then just create a new user profile.
Otherwise → Reinstallation (previously save data).
And with the other one stands there
The restore process completed successfully
But do not go net anyway
