Hi, I have an Acer laptop with Linux Mint above but I want to have Bliss OS (Android) with my USB stick. But when I go to the BIOS (with F2) at boot my USB is not recognized and also with the Boot Manager (with F12) it is not recognized. Can somebody help me?
How did you create the stick?
With a disk imager
Remember that the stick must be bootable.
It is bootable
Who would be there?
Did you check the bios if your USBs are activated at all? Have you changed the boot sequence yet?
Try another boot medium, e.g. CD. (Boot medium must be bootable) Had the same problem once. It helped me.
You can also mark the stick as bootable.
Is the USB stick bootable?
Which program did you use to create it?
If the laptop is not an oldie, a USB drive (USB drive) will certainly be listed in the boot sequence of the drives - regardless of whether one is connected or not.
If "Boot" is listed in the menu bar of the UEFI / BIOS start window, open "Boot". - See also: https://de.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/8541/~/%C3%84nderung-der-startreihenfolge
If no USB drive is listed, install from a DVD.
With a laptop comes from 2015
Then it should also be possible to boot from a USB drive (stick)
It should, as shown here *, via [F2] in the UEFI / BIOS under "Boot",
and at least one USB drive can be displayed via [F12] in the boot menu.

If, as shown here, "USB HDD" and "USB CDROM" become "USD HDD" probably means via USB 3 port and "USB CDROM" via USB 2 port.
At least that's how it is with my PC, Bj 2013.
