Reset PC BIOS with USB stick?

I have a Samsung laptop and unfortunately yesterday I set the BIOS settings incorrectly…

now he never boots from the hard disk again but only boots from the USB stick and when I pull out the USB stick the laptop restarts indefinitely

I never get into the BIOS again, no matter what key I press, I've searched for it extremely much on the Internet

I can press what I want I can no longer call the BIOS…

I also tried to remove the BIOS battery, but it worked without success.

I saw on the internet that there's an ultimate boot CD program, do you know if this program could possibly be used to reset the BIOS?

Or do you know how to reset the BIOS?

(Laptop: Samsung NP300E5E)

Re

Which key do you have to press to get into the BIOS, is there a hint?

Ch

Yes there's "[F2] to enter Setup" but that does not work, I have already tried many other F keys, as well as ESC, but…

Everything doesn't work

Re

Did you press the FN key?

Ch

No, I pressed the F keys like F1 F2 F8 …

Even if I hold down the FN key, nothing happens

Re

Try an external keyboard, you should always get into the BIOS. It's the F2 key.

Ch

I just tried it and it doesn't work, the laptop comes on (shows the Samsung logo) and two seconds later it goes out and repeats it over and over again

Re

Do you have an external keyboard connected?

Ch

Yes, I have two external ones and neither of them works, the Num Lock key only flashes briefly and nothing more

ab

It won't start at all without USB?

Re

If you can no longer get into the BIOS you have a problem. Try the trick again by removing the button cell battery.

Ch

OK hopefully it will work again afterwards because the laptop was quite expensive

Re

If it doesn't work, you have to send it in.

Ch

No the laptop does not want to boot with the hard drive even though the hard drive is still working

ab

The settings in the BIOS are delicate and you should already know what you are doing.

In the past you could flash the BIOS with a floppy disk, that should also work with USB.

Google your PC after BIOS flash and USB.

Ha

How did you get into the BIOS the day before yesterday and what's on the USB stick? Did you start or install anything from the USB stick?

Ch

I entered the BIOS with Windows 10 with the uefi firmware settings, and yesterday I wanted to install Windows 7 because Windows 10 does not run so well

Ha

Well, he was born in 2012 at the age of 8 and back then it cost 600 euro. What happens when you start the Windows 7 installation from the stick?

Alternatively, you could of course start from a Windows 10 installation stick and then get into the BIOS.

Ch

I've already tried that with the Windows 10 USB stick because I can't get into the BIOS either

when I start the Windows 7 USB stick then the installation runs normally as on any other PC even if the installation is complete and the PC has to be restarted then it starts the USB stick over and over again and when I Disconnect stick then it starts over and over again and does not boot from the hard drive on which Windows 7 is installed

(But I know that the hard drive works 100%)

No matter what I do I just can't get into this beautiful BIOS

Ha

Congratulations on the BIOS update! Now you should be able to enter the BIOS and change the setting so that the installed Windows 7 can start from the hard disk. How did you manage to install the BIOS update? That would be great info here in Girlfriend.

Ch

Thank you! 😁 I did it with a USB stick, I simply dragged the BIOS from the laptop to the USB stick from another PC and then booted from the USB stick and it then automatically did the update! Since then it works and Windows is already installed
