Acer Aspire ES 17 planned obsolescence?

Hi, I have a suspicion of planned obsolescence. So I would like to have a question for you. I'll start:

I know someone who has bought an Aspire ES 17 and right after the warranty, the battery stops working. I thought at least. Apparently it works: In Windows, the percentage goes up, but also down. So apparently Windows 10 still seems to recognize him. I have already tried to "reset" the battery with an office needle. Did not bring anything. Can you now replace the battery and it will work or should you buy a new notebook right away? I would be happy about an answer and one more thing: Acer will not come to my house! Well, I'm waiting for your answers.

SURVEY: Do you think it's planned obsolescence?

Sometimes the traders give it good cheer if it happens right after the warranty and still change out, just give it a try.

My

Battery half a year, I'm going out my trip, when it stops working.

So and so nonsense to fix the things, but that's wanted.

Yes and no

I voted for YES because the battery is already a weak point on these devices.

Unfortunately, the battery is firmly installed in the device, which forces the user ever before to operate the device always with battery even if you operate the device frequently or almost only at the socket. The longest battery life can be achieved by discharging the battery as completely as possible almost completely and only then recharging.

However, batteries are a weak point in many devices and with such devices, it can be assumed that the battery is consumed at the latest after 4-5 years.

But you can also buy a replacement battery with just under 60, - €, the price is even reasonably acceptable.
