Laptop screen stays black?

My laptop screen stays black when booting. The keyboard lights up, the fan starts to turn and the computer makes a sound when I plug in the power adapter, but the screen is black and flashing very weak.

The laptop is an Acer Aspire V.

Do you know why it could be?

Hallu,

I would close here on a hard-to-repair laptop hardware defect in the area of panel control, if the device still has warranty, send it to the local customer service.

At a modern screen, including (PC) monitor, TV and also a laptop Bildschrim is in contrast to formerly a mechanism installed, which ensures that a screen has only so and so much time, if he has the down is it over with the screen.

The manufacturers deliberately do that so that one will eventually buy a new one, or if one owns a laptop, just let it change.

If you still have warranty you can have the laptop repaired or returned. But it's always so that you never have such a long warranty until the runtime is down. Unless you have extended it. But that's just as profitable for the manufacturer.

Plug in an external monitor for control. If this is so your graphics card (chip) o.k. Is this not you probably have a problem with the graphics card (chip).

Thanks, I think unfortunately take guarantee.

Will probably rather be s.der graphics card. But I read that it could be synonymous s.Ram.

br

Could be synonymous s.Ram, but

black and flashing very weak.

Sounds more like something else. Therefore connect an external monitor or TV set.
