The following problem: I wanted to update drivers of the graphics card via the device manager because I got the information that various drivers were out of date.
There were 2 graphics in the device manager. (NVIDIA…). In one was a yellow note that indicated that this graphic. Cause errors or something. I then uninstalled it because I thought I wouldn't need it if it caused errors anyway and then I would have more storage space. As a matter of fact, I uninstalled it, but then suddenly both were gone.
Via Ácer Support I got drivers for the Grafigk again. Searched.
I also don't know if I downloaded the right one? There were a total of 16 drivers. But not all are for the graphics card. I haven't installed anything yet. At Acer Support I read that there's 1. The option to restore the old one or 2. Option to download the drivers.
Since I wanted to update the graphics, the 1st option brings me nothing, except that I again (which I also need) 1 graphics. On the laptop.
But if I choose option 2, the drivers for my laptop are only available for Windows 7, Vista and XP. But I have Windows 10. Then I can't need / use any of these drivers, can I?
How do I best proceed that I 1. Again have a graphics card and 2. As current as possible for Windows 10.
My laptop has the model name "Acer Aspire 7530G"
How do I update my graphics card through Acer support if it is not compatible with Windows 10?
Obviously this laptop has been updated from W7 to W10.
Either you will find a general driver for the built-in GraKa opder somewhere, you have to install W7 and upgrade to W10 again.
