Unintentional marking in the browser?

Was with the laptop of a friend in the browser chrome and could hardly work, because I repeatedly unintentionally marked parts of the screen. I do not have that with my notebook. By tapping a vacant spot on the screen you had to cancel this mark again.

Does anyone know what attitude to change to prevent this unwanted marking?

This happens when you touch the touchpad while typing. As someone who does not often write to notebooks himself, this happens to me more often, especially on touchpads without deeper indentation.

The freeware touchpad blocker https://touchpad-blocker.com/ helps me with this problem very reliable. Effectively, it does nothing more than to prevent movement of the cursor for a specified time after a keystroke. In that way, it can't move unintentionally and receive mouse click commands. Even luring the cursor for just a quarter of a second has reduced my typing error to almost zero.

This often happens when you come to the touchpad unintentionally. On some computers it is unfavorable. In general, you can disable the touchpad but with a button (Fn + F button, but sometimes without Fn). Then of course it would be useful to use an external mouse.

I only work with the touchpad without a mouse.
