Is 1 Settler CD enough to play on 2 laptops?

I would like to play with a friend settler 2 the next generation together (via Lan). Is it enough to buy the CD 1 x and install it on both laptops, or does anyone need a CD for that?

It may be that the CD is needed to start, but that is at stake (at Siedle 2 I do not know). But when it's started, you can take it out and start it on the second laptop.

Has always worked. Or you make an ISO from the CD and mount it on the second laptop.

I always do that with InfraRecorder. http://infrarecorder.org/

Then right-click on the ISO and click "Provide", then it will be treated like a real DVD.
