Which of the three operating systems Linux, Mac, or Windows do you use on your laptop & desktop PCs?
I had only Windows XP in use, then around 2006 I made the first steps with Linux, Ubuntu 6.10. Around 2009 then the change to Arch Linux, at about the same time also Windows flew from the disk, which was until then available via dual-boot. At some point I wanted to boot Windows again after several months of non-use and it did not want to build an Internet connection so it did not make sense to use and had to go away.
Since my computer socialization led from the C64 directly to VMS and then Unix and Linux, I never really got to know DOS and Windows (except as a terminal replacement), and stick with what I can.

I would now join this one here. Perse I have nothing against the two platforms, but I currently use "only" Windows. I'm often thinking of adding a second operating system and that would be Linux.
Which Linux distribution would you like to select / prefer / try as a (re) newcomer?
Phew that's really a good question. In the past, Linux Mint will always run on the machines, which I think is pretty chic. On Ubuntu and Debian, I'm still superior, because you should have more freedom here and you seem to play on many screws.
I'm out of laziness Linux Mint, because there's even some Ubuntu bug cleaned up, if only as a workaround.
