I'll get in touch again, now it's time to switch:

I have an Asus F751SA-TY118T entry-level model, for me it is one anyway.

Laptop switch from Asus beginners to Acer gaming

Detailed:

4GB RAM, CPU Intel Celeron Dual-Core, memory 1TB (HDD), no graphics card, Windows 10.

I have owned it for 3 years and it is actually a good model, but now it is slow with its 4GB RAM, my few games jerky because no graphics card, and now the battery is defective. That's why I looked around for a gaming laptop.

Gaming laptops are often very expensive to buy, but I have now found an inexpensive device.

It is the Acer Aspire V3-771G.

I know it's actually expensive, but I've seen it a lot cheaper too.

Laptop switch from Asus beginners to Acer gaming - 1

Detailed:

8GB RAM, 120 GB (SSD), 500 GB, CPU: Intel i5, NVIDIA 2GB graphics card, Windows 10.

It is a bit older, but the ad says that everything is up to date.

I'm a casual player and tend to experiment.

Is it worth buying the Acer?

Or wouldn't you recommend it?

What's the price?

Di

299 euro

The size of the working memory says little about the speed. Only if you have many programs open at the same time will the computer slow down because it has to transfer data from the working memory to the hard disk.

Upgrade the old computer with more RAM and then keep looking.

Di

So a recommendation?

Vo

There's also the V3 Aspire 772 G. 17.3 inch with i7 -470MQ 2.2 Ghz. Turbo Boost up to 3.3 Ghz. 8Gb -32 GB DDR3 L memory, but it still reaches its limits when playing. This had an SSD and HDD hard drive. Includes a Bluray / DVD drive.

Tu

Yes, I would recommend at the price. LG

Gaming can be forgotten there, much more than Tetris and Minesweeper will not run on it

Does the display at least show which CPU & GPU are in it?

Di

Unfortunately not…

Sa

Then you have to start from the worst. Absolutely no recommendation

@ sgt119 Yes! Sorry!

CPU: Intel i5 4x up to 2.60 GHz

But! Sorry!

If you want to enjoy gaming optimally then never buy a laptop! I played on a laptop myself for many years and can confirm my experience with it:

You can't upgrade a laptop in terms of processor, graphics card and RAM. In addition, a "gaming laptop" does not do what a PC with the same hardware would do.

A laptop is not very cheap, which means that if you ever need more power then you would have to buy a completely new device so that you have a total loss of value.

Because of their design, laptops are not very suitable for gaming. At some point the time will be reached when the ventilation will fail and then there will always be overheating because more and more dust collects in the ventilation.

Laptops are unfortunately built in such a way that once you screw them on, they usually don't work anymore. So this may not be the case with slightly older models, but it is with the newer models.

Therefore I can recommend that you get a PC. With a PC you can replace everything as often as you can with a laptop.

You can believe all of this, as I said, I really gambled with a laptop for many years.

Thanks for the detailed answer!
