No keyboard, no mouse, no sound after reinstalling Windows?

You may be my last salvation.

The following problem: I have a laptop (Asus X205TA) on which I noticed the following problem a few days ago: I had no sound. Since I use the PC only to work, I do not know how long the problem already existed / exists. The icon for the speaker had a red X. There are no playback devices installed. Nothing hiding or disabled. I tried to download the latest drivers - nothing.

So I set up Windows completely new. Now the Oberkracher: After the reinstallation, I still had no sound, but this has become the smallest problem. Now also my mouse and my keyboard do not work anymore. The TouchPad I can no longer operate, let alone that the mouse on the screen is displayed at all. Driver I tried again to download, did not work. Also in the device manager my three problem areas are not displayed. I even tried to play it a second time - again nothing. Both Asus and Microsoft can't help me, so I hope for you.

I'm using Windows 10 with 32 bit.

There's clearly a lack of drivers. You should be able to find them on the Asus side

Everything already tried. They can't be installed. There's finally, I should contact the support. But they can't help either…

The best way to download the drivers of ASUS from here:

https://www.asus.com/..._Download/

Sounds like a simple driver problem for me. Start with the chipset driver before you install others.

The common denominator of all your problems seems to be USB.

Check the USB ports, first in the bios - maybe it is disabled? Then check the drivers of the ports in Windows. Did you get the last version of Windows for rebuilding? If so, then prefer the penultimate one. If not, try the last.

Bios! There's a security setting, because you can disable USB port. Check it out.
