A few weeks ago there was a problem with my Asus Zenbook UX330UA-FC078T / 13.3 "Full.
The fan became loud from one moment to the next. And by that I don't mean loudly in the sense of "I'm playing a game on my notebook and it's very busy" but ULTRA loudly. He didn't even get that loud when gaming. The problem also occurred while I was only opening word and the fan has been constantly loud since then.
It is, I press the "H" key and / or surrounding keys. As soon as I apply (a lot of) pressure, i.e. Just press my hand on the middle of the keyboard, the fan returns to normal operation. However, if I press in the same place from below, the fan immediately goes up again.
In the beginning it stayed that way and I somehow had to exert pressure every half hour. In the meantime, the fan goes up again as soon as I no longer exert any pressure, so it is always in high operation. I can hardly use it anymore, because it is so loud that it bothers other people at university and in the library and at work (and frankly, it totally distracts me).
What I've tried so far:
-All possible software options excluded: Windows reinstalled several times and in different ways, played around with SpeedFan and tried all common things that arise when you googled the problem.
Does anyone have an idea? Unfortunately there's almost no guarantee, but it cost 900 2.5 years ago and I would be reluctant to give it up because of something like that. Should / can I screw it on and somehow get the fan?
Would tip that the fan is no longer running properly and must be replaced. So just help unscrew and check.
Most likely a mechanical defect. Unscrew, replace - what else doesn't help.
