After I took my Asus laptop (Win 10) to my friend when booting a blue screen appeared and said the following:
Standstill code: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Cause of error: rtwlane.sys
Repeated reboots brought nothing, just as a system restoration synonymous because there appeared an error message on the said that possibly the drive was damaged.
Personally, I can't explain everything to me 2 hours ago everything still funzt. I did not throw him out of the 10th floor either. The hard drive was replaced last summer because it was damaged. I've been googled several times, but I'm not getting any cleverer, because it could be damaged.
I know that a specialist should look over it. Tomorrow I'm going to one but I'm totally upset maybe someone of you nen has the ultimate tip and can give me ANY hint somehow. Would be grateful anyway.
Maybe this will help you: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Wireless-and-Networking/rtwlane-sys-Windows-10-can-t-fix-it/td-p/6303934
Try booting from any Linux Live DVD (for example, free at linuxmint.com). If no DVD-LW is installed, then take an external USB burner. The necessary button for the boot menu (to select USB) is in the manual and will be displayed at boot time.
If the elegant Linux desktop appears, the hardware is fine, and Linux can be used with all programs (live), only Winos does not manage to revive the PC - this often happens.
In this case, Linux can be quickly and easily installed with one click on Install on the Linux desktop and used free of charge and legally permanently.
Has nothing to do with the problem here!
What could be the problem, the transport has somehow loosened the connection to the hard drive.
This would require opening the laptop and checking the cable connection to the hard drive. For laptops, it's not that easy. The error message that the drive is damaged could be a good fit.
