I have an Asus laptop and an nvidia 950m with an intel i7 7500u and I usually have the 1920 x 1080 resolution inside. I absolutely need 1440 x 1080 resolution, but if I enter that in the user-defined resolution, it only ever comes that it exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity. I need exactly this resolution so 1440 x 1080 and no other.
If you have already tried restarting, otherwise you can probably throw a program on it that does it better or just use another computer
Then you have to connect a separate monitor that can resolve this and activate the external image output with the function keys (or via screen).
The native resolution should be maintained. Your desired resolution does not have the same aspect ratio.
Sure that the display on the monitor should be changed (in 99.99% of cases you don't need this) - but that the program needs the appropriate resolution?
