Expand or unlock notebook resolution?

I bought the HP Pavilion x360-CR0305NG today and I'm pretty happy with it because I only want to use it for office and small tasks.

Now I noticed that this model has a low native resolution HD instead of FHD. There are different models of the x360er where much is the same.

I'm now the firm conviction that the other model has only one SSD and no as in this model, only one HDD has exactly the same panel because otherwise it is exactly identical in terms of equipment. I can say from experience that it is an enormous effort for the manufacturers to install different panels in a model series because production costs and the machines that ultimately have to be installed have to be adjusted accordingly.

Earlier and today it is the case with some TV sets one could unlock by a service menu functions the example only in the higher series version are available and yes that means also resolution and Wlan as well as other functions. Of that is nothing in because specifications that should be so synonymous.

I'm totally happy with the device but it bothers me because it's not enough space. Probably that's the wrong place but does anyone know how to unlock it on notebooks.

I put my hand in the fire this model: https://www.saturn.de/...30996.html

What a Full HD resolution has

and my model:

The exact same panel was installed thus is synonymous with my model FHD resolution possible.

But unfortunately that's not the case. LCD panels have a fixed resolution, you can only multiply or split them with themselves, otherwise it looks blurry. You can easily adjust FHD on 4k panels, but HD and FHD are not.

These are different displays - yours is SVA and the other is IPS

The difference is e.g. The fact that IPS still provides good illustrations from a larger angle

So nothing with insider tip

That's right but where do you want to please know how many pixels are really installed in it you do not see what panel was installed you only see that it is a panel with a native (supposedly native resolution) is displayed. Like I said I've worked at LG Electronics I already know how this is processed. I believe it only when I know which panel was installed in there because you could forget me completely with your theory… If I do not know which panel was installed why should I then assume that this is the way it is.

Where does the source come from? That's an SVA? And yes I work at LG because you do not need to explain to me what an IPS panel does xD Like I said I believe it only when I know which panel is installed in me no models calls I want to see a source from where the info comes Thank you.

Te

It is not physically possible. If there's a better panel in there, it can only have 2732x1536 and that is extremely unlikely

My source? The detailed information on SATURN links you have posted

Te

Can you even set a smaller resolution like HD, it only comes out "slush", just as it would with FHD or you would now slush, if it were an FHD panel.

Go on a turnip and see. It's no problem for a LG employee. Or are you working in the postal department?
