Why is my laptop no longer connecting to the WLAN?

I installed the Driver Fighter software yesterday at noon and my laptop has not been able to connect to the Wi-Fi since then. "Failed to connect". The sources are displayed, but a connection is not possible. Neither with the normal WLAN, nor with the guest WLAN, nor via hotspot with the smartphone. I also uninstalled the program and tried to activate a restore point, but still no connection to the networks is possible.

Unfortunately, the Windows problem diagnosis does not lead to a correct result. I get the error message "A network cable is not connected properly or may be faulty", even though I had it wirelessly the whole time.

Could this be due to the adapter? But here I found several entries and do not know whether and if so which I can delete and whether Windows will automatically reinstall them after the restart (without internet access):

Broadcast Novice (TM) Gigabit Ethernet

Phantom TAP Windows Adapter V9

Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4 Wireless Network Adapter

Does anyone else have a good approach?

Go to the manufacturer's website for your laptop. Download and install the drivers there. Connect the laptop to the router using a network cable.

Tools like Driver Fighter or the like shouldn't be used, it only makes things worse. You should always download the driver from the manufacturer's website. These are also the stable versions.

Thank you, the problem was solved after deactivating all drivers in the device manager, deleting them in the control panel and then restarting.
