Do you think that 2.5ghz and 4GB are enough to play Minecraft on a laptop? I don't want to be crazy online and 50 worlds, I just want to sometimes go to my friends' server and survive and play like that
2.5 GHz what? Single core? Dual core? Quad core? Something like this is also important to know, as is the processor model, because GHz is not the same as GHz. The graphics card is also important. 4 GB of RAM could be enough.
The processor is fine, but the RAM is pretty marginal. If you don't turn the settings too high, it should work.
The best thing to do is to try the free demo edition. Then you can see whether Minecraft is running smoothly on your PC and based on that you can decide whether to buy it.
The recommended system requirements for Minecraft at a glance:
Graphics cards: NVIDIA GeForce 700, AMD Radeon Rx 200 with OpenGL 4.5. And higher, memory 256 MB, "OpenGL" activated.
Processor with a clock frequency of 2.5 GHz or 2 GHz for dual-core processors and higher.
RAM: 8 GB RAM and higher.
DirectX version 11.0.
With 4GB it could be a bit jerky, but it works too. You mustn't turn up the graphics settings too high. Your CPU should be enough.
So more ram wouldn't be bad. I would also like to know what kind of CPU you have, i.e. A single core performance or quad core and of course Intel or Ryzen. You don't specify graphics card either.
The first to give the correct answer, thank you!
