Almost two weeks ago, the keyboard of my laptop suddenly stopped responding to commands, sporadically set itself up & co. I went to Media Markt and, because my laptop was still under warranty, they sent it to the manufacturer for repair.
Now came today a mail with a 'price suggestion', which says that for the repair of the laptop about 600 euro necessary, as there would be a "water damage". But this is completely out of place, because the laptop has never been anywhere else except on my bed, and I'm with him water & Ä. Never approached.
I will certainly not pay 600 euro (!) For the repair, but vlt you have some advice on how to proceed with something. I have to do something soon, as long as the whole thing is still "fresh".
I would like to make some suggestions from other companies (for example: Nature, etc.)
What kind of laptop is it?
Hi! It is an ASUS notebook, which I bought in March 2018
These are the usual answers that of course, as always, should only lead to one, to earn at the expense of others.
Take the drug of choice, because in a warranty is also "calculated" that a certain amount of sold equipment can be damaged, and thus be replaced or repaired at the expense of the manufacturer.
Turn to media that can help you. For example, NDR market reveals, market helps you. Whereby the market means the shipment.
Look at it, inform yourself accordingly and then try it with such means. Because manufacturers do not like it when they or their kind are questioned in the media.
Not only is there NDR, look around, ask skillful questions to search engines!
But you already know that MediaMarkt and Saturn are the same company?
