The situation looks like this for me:
About a year ago, I bought a laptop that was quite expensive. So I have always handled it gently and also expected a long life. My laptop had a one year warranty.
After about 9 months have passed my keyboard did not work and I went to the dealer. They sent it away and found out that it was due to "moisture damage" and is therefore not covered by the warranty. Although I was convinced that was not the reason, but then I paid it anyway. However, shortly thereafter, I had to travel for 3 months, so I came back just before the expiration of the guarantee and could use it. As it turned out that then the speaker of the laptop was not properly connected and we have it repaired free of charge this time.
Now again a problem has occurred. The keyboard does not work after less than a month of repair and warranty expiration. I only used my laptop once in the meantime.
Since now the warranty period has expired, I only have the legal warranty or liability for defects. Can I ask for another repair or even a flawless (new, different) laptop for the claim of supplementary performance or does it not work in this respect?
With the warranty, you will not get here. This refers only to defects that were already present at the time of the transfer of the device to you or at least created. That is not the case with you.
In addition, from the 7th month the proof can be demanded that the defect was already present or created from the beginning. But you will not be able to provide this proof (keyboard worked for 9 months, then a moisture damage was detected).
