A few quick questions for you
is this motherboard over from the laptop (see picture)? If so, what else can you do and what exactly is this "burnt liquid?"
Thanks in advance 😀
Looks like something leaked
Perhaps there's still a specialist workshop that does / can solder
Otherwise, either swap completely or a new notebook
What happened there?
I can't tell you exactly what that is, but as long as you haven't poured some acid on it, it comes from a component, it can be.
Called:
At least one / two components are over.
There are people who know their way around and who exchange the damaged parts for little money. Some can even repair explosion damage to the board.
If so, they are smaller repair providers or private individuals who do the semi-professional job just as well.
But there's nothing you can do, except look for someone or ask the manufacturer's support, they'll fix it too, but mostly they just replace the whole circuit board for a corresponding amount of money.
Unfortunately my mistake… Drink spilled on the keyboard 🥺 3 years of use… Now he has said goodbye
No acid, however, has been spilled on the tea keyboard…
Then maybe a short circuit, which in turn led to one of the components leaking.
E.g. Capacitors can contain sulfuric acid.
And then you can possibly replace it?
Of course you can if you have the right capacitors and the necessary soldering know-how and can repair other possibly damaged areas on the board.
A "normal" private person with no relevant experience should not try that.
I thank you for the expert answers!
