Problems with the Arduino board?

If I connect the 5V port with a cable, then Arduino joins or I have no connection with the board anymore. I use a laptop and not the original Arduino board but Elegoo.

Which 5V port do you connect where with which cable? Where is the cable still connected? A few detailed information would be helpful…
