WLAN interruption on the new laptop during a round of phasmophobia. What is the problem and how can I fix it?

My girlfriend got a new laptop. It has the same as me, only 8 GB of RAM instead of 16 GB. We often play Phasmophobia together. Whenever we're in the game, the internet connection on your laptop simply breaks off (WLAN). Despite contacting the game developer, the bug still persists. We did a clean restart of the laptop and it still doesn't work. It only happens with her laptop, everything works as usual with mine. Drivers are up-to-date, virus protection and firewall have already been deactivated, the game files checked, reinstalled, and tried VPN. Nothing helps.

Does or does someone have the same problem or knows how to fix the problem?

This may be due to the RAM, but it is unlikely.

We already have. It's the same there. Other online games work, for example. Except Phasmophobia. I have the feeling that it's the game itself. But otherwise I would have the same problem with myself, or maybe not 😅

I play on my notebook, which also has 8 GB of RAM. However, I also had the same. First, I might try a W-LAN amplifier. If that doesn't work either (doesn't always work for me either) then try to tweak the graphics of the game. I have the graphic resolution, shadow, ect. Put it down a little and it works perfectly now.

Well worth a try. We have already reduced the graphics to a minimum. An amplifier may help.
