I have had the problem for several days now that no picture can be seen on the TV when I connect the laptop to it with an HDMI cable. There's definitely no cable defect, I can say that much.
I have the latest version of Windows 10 on the laptop.
It would be really, really cool if someone could give me an answer so that I could finally see something on two screens again.
Has it ever worked?

Yes. It worked for two months before, then I removed the cable for other purposes and put it back on. Since then, the problem has been there.
If I then connect the laptop to another TV, it won't work either.
Then maybe the cable is defective.
The cable works on my Nintendo Switch. So it can only be because of the laptop or the TV.
Well, probably not on TV.
Would take a different HDMI cable.

Sadly it still does not work.
Then connect your TV to the notebook. Switch this off and restart your notebook. Then see your monitor control and see if the TV set is recognized or try the WIN button and P button at the same time.
