How do I get The Getaway 1 and 2 to run faster?

I'm currently playing The Getaway 1 and The Getaway Black Monday on the PCSX2 emulator. But the game is currently running at 30-40 FPS. And in the cutscenes, the characters mostly speak in slow motion. My notebook has 8 GB RAM and 2x, 30 GHz with an Intel Pentium Gold processor. How do I get the PS2 game to run more fluently now?

This has to do with the code of the game. It has been optimized for the console. (No, I'm serious)
