Now I often have problems with my PC (actually a good one and not even a year old) and the Wi-Fi (all other devices have no problems). The fact is that the latency increases drastically every 10 seconds, not always (maybe once a day) but when it does, it's really annoying! Sometimes I even fly out of the WLAN completely and have to reconnect it.
The WLAN router is one room further, but on the same wall and on my PC it is also shown that the connection is very good, maybe 5m more. Speedtest also shows me 15ms. Unfortunately, a LAN cable is not possible because we have cats and because there will not be such a long cable.
In front of my PC, I had a laptop that had exactly the same problems.
If more information is needed, feel free to ask!
I thank you in advance. ^^
Try to enter this in cmd:
ipconfig / renew
ipconfig / release
ipconfig / flushdns
If the laptop had the same problem, it's probably because of the router.
because there won't be such a long cable
Yes, there are even cables up to 100m in length
Yes, I think I heard that the longer the cable is, the worse the connection or something would be. Can be wrong too. ^^
That doesn't make a big difference and shouldn't affect your ping
