I need a surf stick for my laptop because i don't have Wi-Fi at the moment. I have already researched various offers on the internet, but i can't estimate how much GB i need. I would like to use the internet daily for about 2-3 hours in the evening for the next 4 weeks, but only for research, not to watch films or anything else. How much GB volume should I book, what do you think?

To read a few texts here and there, between 6 and 8 GB per month should be enough.

Remember that you can also use your smartphone with Internet flat as a "surf stick".

Simply connect with a USB cable and turn on USB tethering.

Thanks for the tip! I've never tried that before. Is the connection on the laptop good and fast if you run it on the smartphone?

You can turn off Wi-Fi on the cell phone and then go to Google Chrome, e.g. Then you can see how fast the internet is from your mobile phone. This is then simply passed on to the laptop.

You can of course also switch on the Wi-Fi hotspot on your mobile phone and then search for your mobile phone in the Wi-Fi settings of your laptop and log in there. To do this, you have to set a password on the mobile phone and so on or look it up and that's why I prefer to do it simply via cable.

Well, a laptop also works via WLAN tethering, so hotspot, there's no extra cable required.
