If I send someone an email on my laptops using a fake email sender, can you find out your name and location?
An email fake sender is an online website where you can specify any sender.
I sent an email about it and took a closer look at the header area of the incoming mail. I could only find an IP there and a few numbers.
However, this IP was due to the location of the site operator.
Can I be found anyway?
Yes, by the email provider giving out your real IP and the internet provider providing your address.
As far as I know, this can only be done with a judicial decision.
But the email was not sent by me. But from the side
Then the site operator can move out the IP, the result is the same.
However, it becomes difficult for the judiciary if the provider is located abroad.
