Somehow, unfortunately I'm not an expert and always play it safe. Have always a USB stick inside, then I save in between everything again. Cumbersome but already needed 2 times.
No, but take precautions: Extras - Options - Load / Save - General; there check the hook and the minutes set at "Saving car recovery info every ___ minutes".

And since you have a printout on paper, you could scan these pages and hunt through good text recognition.
With that you could probably do a lot of digital editing.
