The laptop is very weak but for simple office applications, this is enough.

I would install a Linux distribution on this device as operating system. For example, Peppermint OS. This is based on Ubuntu and runs extremely fast even with only 4GB of RAM. It requires less system resources than Windows. The desktop has a start menu, looks modern and also has transparency effects. Boot this stick afterwards. Insert the stick, switch on the device and immediately press F2. You are now in the UEFI.
