Word crashes while writing?

I have a problem with Word 2012 (more precisely: Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO 64-Bit), which I received as part of an Office 365 package.

My Word just crashes while writing. When I create a new document and write a few sentences, it quickly starts to get an error message and I either have to restart or close Word.

The error message looks like this:

(1.) "Microsoft has stopped working. We're looking for a solution to the problem."

1 to 5 seconds later…

(2.) "No solution to the problem could be found."
- My only answer option is to close Word.

or / then

(3.) "Microsoft Word will be restarted"
- It happens automatically. I have no control over whether I want to restart or not.

_________

With (2.) and (3.) I'm back to the beginning. Fortunately, I can restore my document, but after a few words the drama repeats itself.

Maybe mentioned. It actually doesn't just happen while writing. Even if I just switch the register boxes around so quickly, the error message also comes.

What have i tried already?

Laptop restarted (also shut down completely and then started)
Add-ins disabled or removed
I can use "winword / safe". Unfortunately, the error is reproduced again when editing.
All Word registry entries deleted by "regedit"
"Auto save" is off and I tried without an account link
Microsoft Word updated

Unfortunately, I don't want to uninstall Word and then reinstall it. I would have to download the entire Office 365 package again, which takes several hours for me…

In addition, under "Uninstall programs" I can't find Word 2012 or my other Office 365 programs anywhere. So I can't use a repair toolkit like that.

Excel works fine for me. I've somehow broken PowerPoint through my trial and error…

___________

Any tips? I think maybe it's just because of my laptop, which is many years old. Would be stupid if my laptop is the problem.

I also had it, so uninstalled it and bought something decent and better.

Unfortunately I need Word for my studies. With us, all online documents are in Word and for my MS Office certificate I also have to be able to use Word.
