I have the problem that I would like to connect two external monitors to my laptop. Both monitors are recognized, but my laptop always prefers the screen that is connected via VGA, the one with HDMI remains black (but is displayed in the display settings). If I now disconnect the VGA cable, the image is immediately displayed on the screen that I connected with HDMI.
Does anyone know if that could possibly come with the graphics performance of my laptop, as this is simply not enough (very simply equipped work laptop)? Or maybe someone knows something else why this could be.

Sounds like a limitation by the graphics card, this is usually done because the computing power is lacking for more
If this also occurs when using the Windows + P shortcut, it simply means that the laptop can only access one of the two ports at the same time, not both at the same time. So it means either - or; the mobile graphics card driver should simply prevent this here.
