I need a new laptop for the school. (For CAD programs and AUTOCAD) as well as for 3D programs. In the Dell G5 15 5587 is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti and a i5-8300H processor (4x2.30GHz) but there's one with a i7-8750H (6x2.20GHz) and a GeForce GTX 1060. Worth the extra charge of 200 euro for the two differences, PS: There's no Windows in the expensive.

Is there such a big difference between the two processors or the graphics card (where the processor is more important to me). So how does it look like? Does anyone know who, or is the i5 enough for me?

For CAD the screen is important… High Resolution / 17 Inch… Retina Display. (Have yourself an old HP elite notebook, designed for Autocad.)

As far as the CPU is concerned… Make smart how many cores Autocad supports. Is probably the only program to z, B. Games, which supports multiple cores.

But can cost.

But with the CPUs, there will be no noticeable difference effectively. Will be totally overrated.

Nice is also a big SSD.

AUTOCAD:

Minimum processor requirement: 2.5-2.9 GHz processor

Recommended: 3 GHz processor and more memory Minimum requirement: 8 GB

Recommended: 16 GB screen resolution Conventional displays:

1920x1080 with True Color

Have my then 756GB SSD installed
